    Ingredients:

      5 pounds Beef Tenderloin
      1/2 cup tomato puree
      1/2 cup water
      3 teaspoons honey
4 tablespoons lemon juice, or cider vinegar
      2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
      2 teaspoons dry mustard
      1 teaspoon garlic powder

    Directions:

For barbecue sauce: mix ingredients tomato puree through garlic powder in a small  saucepan. Simmer for 15 minutes. (Makes 1 cup sauce.)

Marinate the beef tenderloin in the barbecue sauce for 4 hours in the refrigerator.  Place the tenderloin on a rack in a roasting pan and pour the marinade over it. Place in a  cold oven. Heat oven to 400 degrees and roast the meat for 1 hour for medium rare. A cut  in the meat will determine the state of rareness. Remove meat to a warm platter and slice  to serve.
