Recipe from: Beth J. Martin

     Ingredients:

      2lbs. Ground Beef
      1/2 cup chopped green pepper
      1 cup chopped onion
      28oz. canned cut up tomatoes
      1-3/4 cups tomato sauce
      5-1/2 cups cooked pinto beans, drained
      2 Tbl chili powder
      2 tsp ground cumin
      4 tsp salt
      1-1/2 tsp dried oregano
      1 lg. can diced chilies (or 1/4 cup chopped jalapeno peppers)
      4 tsp hot pepper sauce
       

    Directions:

    Brown ground beef in large kettle (dutch oven). Add green pepper, onion,  tomatoes, tomato sauce and beans; cook on medium heat for one hour; add spices, diced  chilies or jalapeno peppers and hot pepper sauce; cook 2 hours longer. *Make sure you cook  your pinto beans first.
