As promised, this month we're going to discuss hamburger, or rather ground meat, and the many things you can do with it. Ground meat is very versatile and lends itself to many differnt types of cooking methods, such as sauteeing, baking, broiling and grilling. I prefer to grind my own meats, this way I can regulate the fat content, the type of meat used and the freshness. An old fashioned hand operated meat grinder makes a wonderful tool! All the recipes listed here are easily made with any kind of ground meat; beef, lamb, veal, pork, chicken or turkey.
