Bernie's Chicken

With more and more people interested in watching their fat intake, chicken (especially white meat) has become a popular alternative to meat. Chicken breasts are very versatile. They can be baked, broiled, fried, grilled, sautéed, poached, steamed. They can also be seasoned, spiced, marinated, rubbed and coated with a variety of flavors practically allowing you to have a different dish every night of the week for a year! (I don't recommend this - get out of the kitchen at least one in a while and let someone else do the cooking! Mind you, this someone else may decide to cook you up a chicken dish, too!)
I have included one of the most versatile chicken recipes right here - you need go no further nor click no more to prepare a dish that with, one change of ingredient, will taste different every time!

Bernie's Quickie Chicken Fingers:

    4 chicken breast halves (boneless)
    "Not-So Secret Sauce" **
1 cup breadcrumbs (if your sauce is not too flavored on its own then use  seasoned breadcrumbs)

Preheat oven to 375. Slice breasts into strips and place  into large bowl. Pour "Not-So Secret Sauce" over and combine well. Dip each  strip into the breadcrumbs and place on a greased baking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes.  Enjoy!

    Not-So Secret Sauce:

For the coating sauce you can use anything flavorful and  wet! Any variety of bottled salad dressing either creamy or not, any kind of mustard,  ketchup, mayonnaise or Miracle Whip™, honey, pesto sauce, mild chili sauce etc. etc.!  Use your imagination and you can have a different taste every time!

Other Chicken Breast Recipes:

Quick Chicken Paprikash
Garlic Buttered Chicken
Chicken Casserole
Chicken Parmesan

Chicken thighs, drums and wings are always an inexpensive, tasty alternative to beef. Although a lot of people prefer white meat, being a thigh man myself, there are always some of us who grab that drumstick! Which is a good thing, otherwise the would have to start breeding 4 breasted no legged chickens :-)

Thighs & Drums:

Wings
